Bwana Mkubwa
Bwana Mkubwa (great master) was the Swahili name given to Robert being the elder of the two Wright brothers by the Africans in his employ. The memoir is a story of two courageous and resourceful men with a thirst for adventure. Africa was still a “dark continent” during the late Victorian era; some countries borders were unmapped and large areas still teemed with game. This is their story.
